In the rigidly structured armies of the Order of the Sword, highly specialized wizards study the Way of Steel. These students learn to specialize their spell casting to a single school, gaining mastery over one form of magic.

Focused Study
A student of steel cannot choose to specialize in an elemental school, cannot be a universalist, or use sin magic.

Chosen Schools
A student of steel’s spell list is restricted to spells of his arcane school. He adds the spells from an additional school of magic at 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter. Other spells are not considered to be on the student of steel’s spell list until he selects that school.

Muscle Memory
A student of the steel does not have a spell book and prepares her spells from memory. He may prepare any spell on her spell list when preparing spells.

Steel Bonded
The student of steel must select a bonded object as his arcane bond and gains a suit of arcane bonded light armor. He may cast spells while wearing his arcane bonded armor without incurring arcane spell failure chance and is considered to be proficient in his bonded armor’s use.
