While most paladins take to the field of battle with gleaming plate armor, others are protected by their powerful faith. These paladins call their beliefs into a physical barrier, protecting themselves and their allies from harm.
Armor Proficiency
A faith armored is proficient with light armor and shields.
This replaces armor proficiencies
Air of Faith (Su)
The faith armored is protected not by armor or shields, but by the power of her belief. As a swift action, the faith armored may summon an air of faith, granting her a deflection bonus to her AC equal to her Charisma modifier (minimum +1) for 1 round. This bonus increases by +1 at 4th level at every 3 levels thereafter.
This replaces detect evil
Air of Enchantment (Su)
At 4th level, when the faith armor conjures an air of faith, she forgo an amount of deflection bonus to provide her air with armor or shield enchantments with a cost equal to the amount of bonus forgone. The air of faith must provide at least a +1 deflection bonus in order to provide an armor or shield enchantment.
This replaces spells. A faith armored does not gain any spells or spellcasting ability, do not have a caster level, and cannot use spell trigger and spell completion magic items.
Air of Protection (Su)
At 11th level, when the faith armored conjures an air of faith, she provides the same air to each ally within 10 feet.
This replaces aura of justice
Air of Absolution (Su)
At 20th level, when the faith armored conjures an air of faith, the air lasts for a number of minutes equal to her level, though this increased duration applies only to her. Additionally, when the faith armored heals a creature with her lay on hands or channel energy class feature, she may apply an air of faith to that creature for one minute.
This replaces holy champion
