In the time before the Dusk Crusade, clashes between good and evil outsiders were commonplace. Rakshasas and garuda battled over jungle territory, the Angelic Host flew to slay div who desecrated sacred spaces, and the fury of the archons descended upon scheming devils in human cities. It was the Internuncios who kept balance amidst these clashes, preventing the forces of chaos, evil, good or law from gaining too much ground.
Alignment
An internuncio of neutrality is the hand of balance in a world of crusading aligned interests. An internuncio of neutrality must be true neutral. An internuncio of neutrality whose alignment changes cannot gain new levels as a monk but retains all monk abilities
The modifies alignment
Smite Bias (Su)
The internuncio of neutrality maintains peace by battling aligned forces. Once per day, an internuncio of neutrality can call out to the powers of balance to aid her in her struggle against aligned forces. As a swift action, the monk chooses one target within sight to smite. If this target is chaotic evil, chaotic good, lawful evil, or lawful good, the internuncio of neutrality adds her Wis bonus (if any) to her attack rolls and adds her monk level to all damage rolls made against the target of her smite. If the target of smite bias is an outsider with the chaotic, evil, good, or law subtype, the bonus to damage on the first successful attack increases to 2 points of damage per level the monk possesses. Regardless of the target, smite bias attacks automatically bypass any DR the creature might possess.
In addition, while smite bias is in effect, the monk gains a deflection bonus equal to her Wisdom modifier (if any) to her AC against attacks made by the target of the smite. If the monk targets a creature that is not chaotic evil, chaotic good, lawful evil, or lawful good, the smite is wasted with no effect.
The smite bias effect remains until the target of the smite is dead or the next time the internuncio of neutrality rests and regains her uses of this ability. At 4th level, and at every three levels thereafter, the monk may smite bias one additional time per day, to a maximum of seven times per day at 19th level.
This replaces flurry of blows
Purposeful Motion
At 3rd level, the internuncio of neutrality moves slowly and purposefully. When the internuncio of neutrality moves no more than 1/2 her base speed when using a move action to move, or when she moves no more than her base speed when when using the charge or withdraw action, she gains a +1 shield bonus to her AC until her next turn. This bonus increases by +1 at 6th level and every 3 levels thereafter.
This replaces fast movement
Neutral Ki (Su)
At 10th level, when the internuncio of neutrality strikes an outsider with the chaotic, evil, good, or lawful subtype, that creature’s resistance to acid, cold, electricity, or fire is suppressed for 1 round. If the creature possesses multiple resistances, the resistance suppressed is chosen at random. This ability cannot be used to suppress elemental immunity.
This replaces the monk’s ability to make a lawful ki strike
