Egotist’s Smite (Su)
The ascendant egotist may use his smite good class feature on any creature, regardless of alignment, as long his that creature has dealt him damage in the past round.
This modifies smite good
Self Worship
At 3rd level, the ascendant egotist’s self worship begins to bear fruit. He grants himself the ability to cast spells at 3rd level, gaining one 1st level spell per day at 3rd and 4th level, instead of 0. He treats his caster level as his antipaladin level, instead of his antipaladin level -3.
This replaces plague bringer and modifies spells
Egotistical Boon (Su)
Once per day at 5th level, the ascendant egotist can spend a full-round action to gain an additional spell slot of each spell level he can cast and prepare a spell in each of those spell slots. The ascendant egotist can use this ability an additional time per day at 11th and 17th levels.
This replaces fiendish boon
Aura of Selfishness (Su)
At 11th level, when a creature within 10 feet of the ascendant egotist casts a spell with a target of self and a range of personal, the ascendant egotist may spend an immediate action make himself the target of the spell instead, even if he would not be a valid target. The ascendant egotist must succeed an opposed caster level check in order to steal a spell in such a way. The ascendant egotist may use this ability once per day at 11th level and an additional time per day at 17th level.
This replaces aura of vengeance
Egotistical Ascension (Sp)
At 20th level, the ascendant egotist’s self-worship makes him godlike, imbued with a small shard of divinity. Should he ever be killed, he is resurrected, as per true resurrection, 24 hours later at the location of his demise. Additionally, the most recent creature to kill the ascendant egotist is permanently the target of his smite. The antipaladin may not be resurrected this way more than once in a 48-hour period.
