"What is the sweet ambrosia of the Great Gods? What tastes of milk and honey and the power of the world? Is it not the soul, fresh and tender as the heart of the ewe in the fields? Drink of this fine necter and ye' shall be transformed into the most powerful of all."

Soul Feaster Casting
Instead of preparing her spells, a soul swallower draws spell energy from her soul and the souls of her targets. A soul swallower is a spontaneous spellcaster. She knows the same number of spells and receives the same number of spell slots per day as a sorcerer of her witch level. Bonus spells granted by a soul swallower’s patron are added to her total spells known at the appropriate levels.
This ability alters the witch’s spellcasting
Summon Food (Sp)
At 1st level, a soul swallower can cast summon monster I as a spell-like ability at-will. She can cast this spell as a standard action, and the creatures remain for 1 minute per level (instead of 1 round per level). The soul swallower cannot use this ability to summon a creature with the same type as another creature she has summoned within 24 hours. At 4th level, and every 2 levels thereafter, the power of this ability increases by 1 spell level, allowing her to summon more powerful creatures (to a maximum of summon monster IX at 18th level).
Soul Feast (Su)
At 4th level, the soul swallower may consume a summoned creature. She may do this as part of the action required to cast a spell to summon a creature or as a standard action. Consuming a hostile summoned creature as a standard action requires a melee touch attack.
When the soul swallower consumes a summoned creature, she may gain a +2 profane bonus to a single ability score for the duration of the effect which summoned the creature or 24 hours, whichever is first. This ability score by the soul swallower when this ability is activated. If the target’s chosen ability score is 11 or less, this ability has no effect. The soul swallower cannot choose a single ability score more than once every 24 hours. The profane bonus granted by this ability increases by +2 at 10th and 16th level.
This replaces the hexes gained at 4th, 10th, and 16th levels
Manifested Feast (Su)
At 6th level, when the soul swallower consumes a summoned creature, she gains each natural attack that creature possesses for the duration of the ability which summoned the creature or 24 hours, whichever is first. This is a polymorph effect.
This replaces the hex gained at 6th level
Major Summons:
At 10th level, the witch chooses a number of creatures equal to twice her Intelligence modifier from those listed in the Expanded Summons feat. She may not choose more that one creature with the same type available for a single summon monster spell. The witch may summon these creatures with her Summon Food ability.
This replaces major hex
Consume Arcanity (Su)
At 12th level, while the soul swallower is under the effects of her Soul Feast class feature, she adds each spell the consumed creature possesses as a spell known or spell-like ability to her spell list and list of spells known at the appropriate level.
This replaces the hex gained at 12th level
Grand Summons
At 18th level, the soul swallower may summon any creature listed in the Expanded Summons feat with her Summon Food ability.
This replaces grand hex
