From the docks of Harjess to the mean streets of Tzalandar, many gunslingers find themselves in close quarters when they enter into combat. These gunslingers learn to strike with both guns and blades.
Bruiser’s Grit
The black powder bruiser does not regain grit on a critical hit with a firearm, but regains a point of grit when she makes a killing blow with any weapon as long as she is holding a firearm.
This modifies grit
Deeds
The black powder bruiser gains access to the following deeds:
Steel and Steel (Ex): At 1st level, as long as the black powder bruiser has at least 1 grit point, she gains the benefits of Two-Weapon Fighting when wielding a light or one-handed melee weapon in one hand and a firearm in the other. This ability counts as Two-Weapon Fighting for the purpose of meeting feat prerequisites.
This replaces quick clear
Inexplicable Finesse (Ex): At 3rd level, as long as she has at least 1 grit point, the black powder bruiser can reload a gun even if her hands are full.
This replaces utility shot
Bladed Cover (Ex): At 7th level, as long as the black powder bruiser has at least 1 grit point, she does not provoke attacks of opportunity for reloading or firing a firearm from foes that she threatens with a light or one-handed melee weapon.
This replaces dead shot
Burning Blade (Ex)
At 8th level, the black powder bruiser can pour gunpower onto her blade to cause burn her foes. When the black powder bruiser reloads a firearm while wielding a melee weapon, her next attack with that weapon before the end of her next turn deals +1d6 fire damage. This damage is multiplied on a critical hit.
This replaces the bonus feat gained at level 8th level
