​Chiabali is the Almiran god of liminality and journeys. The Gatekeeper Prince's power vested in liminal spaces such as river deltas and thresholds. He also watches over those who are undergoing times of change, such as the the restless dead caught between life and death and young people coming of age. It is said that Chiabali uses his liminal powers to guide the Sun through dawn and dusk, ensuring that each day begins anew. Journeys are sacred to Chiabali and his acolytes often find many reasons to prolong their travels, if only to increase the time between destinations.
