Locations

The world of Almira is vast, dotted with small hamlets of no more than 10 or 15 families. The few cities that thrive here are well fortified with ancient magics and honed steel, insurance against oni, hags, and other denizens of Hong Xa who are not content with well mannered slaves. The following locations are some of the largest in Almira, though other cities and millions of small villages, hamlets and thorpes exist as well.
Blackship,
       City on the Sea
Blackship is a floating city on the sea, created by wayang escaping the Dusk Crusade. This city is deeply communal with a plethora of traditions.

Genamott,
             The Silo City
Genamott lies deep within the Volorin Mountains, and is a dominant military power. The drow who live here are lawful good or lawful neutral, transformed by magic used to hold off the Dusk Crusade.

Harjess,
     Clockwork City
Harjess is a hub of technomagical innovation. The city provides food for all of its citizens with self-planting and self-tilling fields. Harjess's inventors and mages govern their own disciplines.

Kugona,
            City of Peace
Kugona is a peaceful beachfront city. White wooden houses stand on boardwalks, and deer and foxes frolic among wildflowers beneath apple and pear trees. Fisherman in the bay haul in the night's dinner.

Oduma,
 Wings of Freedom
Oduma is a city with no laws other than the words of their judges. Fiercely proud, the citizens of this great city will protect their freedom and the freedom of others at all cost.

Confederation
        of Persistence
Persistence is a confederation of 3 states, Engazi, Nixus, and Vuur. These states lend each other military aid when it is needed, and share a common currency, small pieces of art.

The
    House of Herons
Long before Hong Xa existed, the House of Herons was a human tribe. Now, four bloodlines rule the city, the humans of Dama, the Wageni of Samuelson, the Paeori of Anastos, and the Ezymir of Rachne,
