The few cities that thrive here are well fortified with ancient magics and honed steel, insurance against oni, hags, and other denizens of Hong Xa who are not content with well mannered slaves. Blackship is a floating city on the sea, created by wayang escaping the Dusk Crusade. This city is deeply communal with a plethora of traditions.

Genamott lies deep within the Volorin Mountains, and is a dominant military power. The drow who live here are lawful good or lawful neutral, transformed by magic used to hold off the Dusk Crusade.

Harjess is a hub of technomagical innovation. The city provides food for all of its citizens with self-planting and self-tilling fields. Harjess's inventors and mages govern their own disciplines.
