Deeds
The gun punter gains the following deeds at their listed levels:
Gun Punting (Ex): The gun punter uses her weapon in a very unconventional way, jamming the barrel against an enemy and igniting the powder. As long as she has at least 1 point of grit, the gun punter may treat a firearm as though it were a melee weapon; fire. The gun functions in all ways as a melee weapon, though she must still discharge the gun to attack and her attacks are still made against the enemy’s touch AC.
This replaces deadeye
Force of the Blow (Ex): At 3rd level, when the gun punter successfully uses her gun punting deed to make a melee attack with a firearm, she may spend a point of grit in order to she may make a trip or bull rush combat maneuver against her target as a swift action. This combat maneuver does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
This replace pistol whip
Scale Ripping (Ex): At 15th level, as long as the gun punter has at least 1 point of grit, fire damage that the gun punter deals with melee firearm attacks is unaffected by fire resistance (but not fire immunity).
This replace slinger’s luck
Flash Burn (Ex)
At 2nd level, when the gun punter successful uses her gun punting deed to make a melee attack with a firearm, she deals an additional +2 points of fire damage. This damage increases by +2 at 6th level and every 4 levels thereafter (maximum +10 at 18th level). This damage stacks with other sources of fire damage (such as the flaming weapon property).
