The constellations of Almira hold many powers. While stargazers simply channel the powers of the great constellations, the Starfall Engineer brings them crashing down on top of his enemies.
Heavenly Insight
The starfall engineer loses Knowledge (Arcana) as a class skill, but gains Knowledge (Engineering) as a class skill.
Constellation Calling (Su)
The starfall engineer opens himself to one of the major constellations of Almira, as a stargazer of his level. He uses his Intelligence modifier in place of his Wisdom modifier when determining the effects of his major constellation. The starfall engineer cannot use his constellation's ability which requires uses of starlight boon until 3rd level (see below).
This replaces mutagen
Starfall (Su)
As a standard action, the starfall engineer can cause a small shower of stars to fall to the earth. This shower is centered around a square within 30 feet. The starfall strikes the targeted square and one random square within 5 feet. The starfall strikes an additional random square within 5 feet at 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter (maximum 5 adjacent squares at 20th level).
Creatures in a square struck by starfall take 1d6 damage at 1st level and an additional 1d6 damage at 3rd level and every 2 levels thereafter. This damage is the damage type dealt by the starfall engineer's major constellation. A Reflex save halves this damage (DC 10 + 1/2 the alchemist’s level + his Int modifier). The starfall engineer can use this ability a number of times per day equal to his alchemist level + his Intelligence modifier.
This replaces bombs
Triangulate Position (Ex)
The starfall engineer can triangulate his position using the stars. He adds his Intelligence modifier on Survival checks in place of his Wisdom modifier and automatically succeeds on Survival checks to avoid getting lost while he is outside at night and can see the stars.
This replaces throw anything
Boon Crafting (Su)
At 3rd level, the starfall engineer gains the ability granted by his major constellation which requires him to spend uses of Starlight Boon. He gains a number of uses of starlight boon each day equal to his Intelligence modifier.
This replaces swift alchemy
Improved Constellation Calling (Su)
At 14th level, the starfall engineer opens himself to a minor constellation, as a stargazer of his level. He uses his Intelligence modifier in place of his Wisdom modifier when determining the effects of his minor constellation.
This replaces persistent mutagen
Sculpt Starfall (Su)
At 18th level, the starfall engineer can spend a use of starlight boon in order to choose which squares are affected by his starfall, instead of determining them at random. He must still affect the correct number of squares.
This replaces instant alchemy
