Cavaliers of the Order of the Swift Blade form small, tightly knit warbands that strike with speed, precision and skill. Mounted on small, nimble ponies, these evasive warriors are able to overcome their enemies with speed, stealth, and brutal tactics.

Cavaliers of the Order of the Wild Plains shun the rank and file discipline of large military organizations, preferring instead to fight for justice as they see it. These cavaliers often lead solitary lives, or find small adventuring groups with which they form tight and lasting relationships. These rough and tumble horsemen often prefer a night’s sleep in a hammock or sleeping bag to a bed at an inn. Cunning, hardiness, and bravado in equal parts are necessary to be a part of the Order of the Wild Plains.

The goat riders of Oduma are halfling freedom fighter, able to strike quickly from the backs of their mounts before retreating a safe distance. Springing skirmishers are at home in the rocky terrain of their home city, navigating peaks and crags with their intelligent mounts. Goat riders are wary of teaching their craft to others, but will sometimes entrust other small sized creatures with their secrets in the name of fighting for freedom. This racial archetype may be selected by other small size races than halflings, subject to GM discretion.

The art of the Trick Rider is equal parts precision and grace. These lightly armored cavaliers use acrobatics tricks to avoid incoming attacks and pivot as they charge across the battlefield, striking their enemies with well placed blows. Trick riders are often known to join the Order of the Swift Blade, gaining the secrets of smaller mounts who are able to match their acrobatic attacks.
