Slayers are at home in the shadows, coming for a studied enemy with blades and bows before sneaking back off into the night. The guardian eye uses his stealth and precision not to track and kill a single target, but to protect his sworn allies.
Studied Ally (Ex)
The guardian eye may study an ally he can see as a move action. That ally remains studied for one round.
When a studied ally is the target of a melee attack, the guardian eye may spend an attack of opportunity in order to make a single ranged attack at his highest base attack bonus against the attacker. The guardian eye may not use this ability if he is flat-footed or unaware of the attacker.
At 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter, the slayer’s allies remain studied for an additional round (maximum 5 rounds at 20th level). At 7th level, the guardian eye may study an ally as a move action or a swift action.
This replaces studied target
Vengeful Barrage (Ex)
At 4th level, the guardian eye gains Combat Reflexes as a bonus feat.
This replaces the slayer talent gained at 4th level
Uncanny Dodge (Ex)
At 7th level, the guardian eye gains the uncanny dodge class feature of a rogue of his level.
This replaces stalker
Stinging Vengeance (Su)
At 10th level, when the guardian eye hits with an attack made as part of his studied ally class feature or with a readied attack with a bow, he may add his sneak attack damage to his damage roll, even if he is not flanking his target or his target is not denied it Dexterity bonus to its AC.
This replaces the slayer talent gained at 10th level
Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex)
At 14th level, the guardian eye gains the improved uncanny dodge class feature of a rogue of his level.
This replaces quarry
Watchful Eye (Su)
At 19th level, the guardian eye can study up to 10 allies as part of making an initiative check.
This replaces improved quarry
Guardian Arrow (Su)
At 20th level, when guardian eye successfully strikes an enemy with an attack made as part of his studied ally class feature, he may cause the triggering attack to automatically miss. The guardian eye may use this ability no more than once per round.
This replaces master slayer
