The storied sage spins tales of her past, allowing her allies to draw inspiration from the various exploits and adventures that give her power.
Bardic Performance
The storied sage weaves lengthy tales inspire her allies, instead of swift instinctual advice. She gains the bardic performance ability at 1st level. She has a number of rounds of bardic performance per day equal to 4 + her Wisdom modifier. At 2nd level and every 2 levels after that, she can use bardic performance for 2 additional round per day. If the storied sage also has bard levels, she may use these rounds for either class's bardic performances.
The storied sage gains the inspire courage bardic performances at 1st level, the inspire greatness bardic performance at 12th level, inspire heroics at 20th level, and the following performances at their listed levels. These performances use the storied sage’s level in place of her bard level, and her Wisdom modifier in place of her Charisma modifier. This replaces instinct and bonus feats.
“In My Youth” (Sp): A storied sage of 4th level or higher can use her performance to expound the glory of ages past. When the storied sage uses her Instinct on an ally affected by this performance, the bonus provided by her Instinct is doubled. This performance relies on audible components.
Listener’s Boon (Ex)
The storied sage’s praxis is always active when she is using a bardic performance or in her place of power. A sage’s praxis is never active otherwise. Once per day at 3rd level and every 5 levels thereafter, the storied sage spend a free action to activate her praxis for 1 round even if she is not using a bardic performance.
This modifies praxis
Stories of War (Su)
At 2nd level, when the storied sage casts a spell, she may spend a number of rounds of bardic performance equal to twice the spell’s level instead of spending a spell slot. The sage may use this ability once per day at 2nd level and an additional time per day at 12th level.
This replaces convert power
Versatile Performance (Ex)
At 4th level, the storied sage can use her Perform (oratory) bonus in place of her bonus Diplomacy and Intimidate skill checks. When substituting in this way, the sage uses her total Perform skill bonus, including class skill bonus, in place of its associated skill’s bonus, whether or not she has ranks in that skill or if it is a class skill.
This replaces metamagic aptitude
Reverberating Story (Su)
At 6th level, the storied sage gains Discordant Voice as a bonus feat. She need not meet this feat’s prerequisites.
This replaces instinctual casting
Sage’s Story (Su)
At 14th level, when the storied sage dies, her story is passed on to the great champion who takes her place. When the storied sage dies, she blesses one of her adventuring companions who was present at the time of her death for a number of days equal to her sage level. While blessed, that creature gains the bonuses granted by the sage’s praxis.
This replaces reach instinct
Improved Sage’s Story (Su)
At 17th level, when the storied sage dies, her blessing lasts for a number of years equal to her sage level, instead of a number of days.

Tale’s Teachings (Su)
A 20th level, each creature affected by the sage’s “In My Youth” bardic performance who can cast spells spontaneously adds the storied sage spells known to their own spells known and spell lists for as long as the performance continues, allowing them to cast the sage’s spells known with their spell slots.
