The fervent empath is the ultimate preacher, manipulating the emotions and inner thoughts of her allies to draw them ever closer to the light.
Empathic Focus
The fervent empath draws her power from from the faith and fervor of the devout. She uses her Wisdom score and modifier in place of her Intelligence score and modifier for all class features (including spells).
Discipline Spells
The fervent empath gains the following spells as discipline spells at the listed levels.
1st-divine favor, 8th-divine power, 10th-righteous might, 12th-invoke deity, 16th-divine vessel
This modifies discipline spells
Consecrate Ally (Su)
The fervent empath may extend the blessings of her deity to those who share her faith. She may spend a point from her phrenic pool when she casts a spell with a target of you and a range of personal in order to change the target to “a creature who shares your faith” and the range to “touch.”
This replaces the psychic’s 1st level phrenic amplification
Divine Empathy (Su)
At 2nd level, the fervent empath may spend a standard action to search for feelings of faith within those around her. This functions as detect the faithful except that the fervent empath can choose to detect creatures who are faithful to any deity or religion, instead of just her own. On the fourth round of concentration, she learn the deity or religion worshiped by each creature in the area.
This replaces detect thoughts
Instill Fervor (Su)
At 9th level, the fervent empath may spend two points from her phrenic pool as a standard action to instill a righteous fervor in an within 30 feet ally. That ally gains a +2 morale bonus on Will saving throws and a +1 morale bonus to the DC of spells they cast for a number of rounds equal to the fervent empath’s Wisdom modifier. Additionally, during this time, the affected ally counts as a creature who shares the fervent empath’s faith. The fervent empath may not use this ability on herself. This is a mind-affecting emotion effect.
This replaces telepathic bond
Zealous Fervor (Su)
At 17th level, when the fervent empath instills fervor in an ally, that ally gains a +2 morale bonus on attack and damage rolls in addition to the other effects of the fervor.
This replaces telepathy
Aura of Fervor
At 20th level, the fervent empath emanates an aura of pure emotion. She is always able to present an emotion component as long as a creature who shares her faith remains within 30 feet of her.
