Involdr is known to the people of the Jadengarde as the True God of Evil; within this culture, all primarily evil deities are seen simply as aspects of Involdr. This burly deity holds dominion over alcohol, feasting halls, pride, and rash decisions in battle.
Alcohol is forbidden to those who travel in Jadengarde caravans, for it clouds the senses in battle and denies memories of joy and happiness. Alcoholism is viewed as a slow corruption of the afflicted and the repeated consumption of alcohol is viewed as a prideful, selfish act.
In his aspect as the Wild Man, Involdr extends his reach over impassable roads. The Jadengarde travel in flat-bottomed crafts called gardeskiffs which can be harnessed to hounds and run along solid roads or poled along shallow rivers. Involdr represents the raging seas and rocky mountains impassable to these light crafts. Involdr’s priests are often barbarians, void kineticists, oracles of whimsy, and drunken monks.
