Deep within the deserts of Tai Ke, a group of kuurite shamans practice the ancient art of the Blade Whisperer. These practitioners make pacts with Raktavarnas, a particularly devious brand of rakshasas who can transform into common objects. The outsiders provide power, while the shamans provide access to the vast resources of the Material Plane. Non-kuurites who find the secrets of this power can gain levels as a blade whisperer.
An Oath Whispered To The Blade
A blade whisperer must be lawful evil. If she ever strays from this alignment, she loses the benefits of this archetype and cannot prepare shaman spells until she atones (as per atonement).
The Blade Who Whispers Back
A blade whisperer gains a raktavarna as a spirit animal. This raktavarna does not gain any of its supernatural or spell-like abilities, except for its change shape ability. The raktavarna can only use its change shape ability to become a single type of bladed light or one handed weapon. This weapon is chosen at 1st level and cannot be changed. While the raktavarna’s shape is changed, it is treated as a masterwork weapon and can be wielded and enchanted as a weapon of that type.
This replaces the blade whisperer’s spirit power and modifies spirits animal
Coax The Venom Forth (Su)
At 8th level, the blade whisperer’s raktavarna gains its supernatural and spell-like abilities as normal. Additionally, when the blade whisperer strikes with her raktavarna while its shape is changed, her target is exposed to the raktavarna’s poison.
This replaces the blade whisperer’s greater spirit power
Let My Wrath Roll Down My Blade (Su)
At 16th level, when the blade whisperer strikes with her raktavarna, she may deliver the effects of a single hex to her target as a free action. This hex must must have an activation time of a standard action and be one that can affect her target.
This replaces the blade whisperer’s true spirit power
May Your Whispers Guide My Hand (Su)
At 20th level, when the blade whisperer make a full-attack with her raktavarna, she may make two additional attacks at her highest base attack bonus as part of her action.
