Some rangers seek out monsters in their lairs. Some rangers seek out new frontiers to explore. Still others seek out lasting resolutions to the world’s greatest tensions. Moving gracefully through the wilds and small cities of Almira, the resolution seeker helps to mediate disputes in the most vulnerable, wild places of the world.
Alignment
The resolution seeker must be True Neutral. A resolution seeker who errs from this alignment loses the benefits of this archetype, though not his other ranger abilities, until he atones for his transgressions.
Resolute Negotiator
The resolution seeker uses his force of personality to resolve otherwise tense situations. He uses his Charisma score and modifier in place of his Wisdom score and modifier for all class features, including spells.
Seeker’s Disposition (Ex)
The resolution seeker is a gentle beacon of neutrality and compromise. He gains Diplomacy as class skill and gains a competence bonus on Diplomacy skill checks equal to 1/2 his ranger level.

Path of Peace (Ex)
Beginning at 3rd level, when the resolution seeker becomes the target of a melee attack, he may make a Diplomacy check. If his check exceeds the triggering attack roll, the attack misses. This is a mind-affecting, language-dependant effect. The resolution seeker may use this ability once per round at 3rd level, and an additional time per round at 8th level and every 5 levels thereafter (maximum 4 times per round at 18th level).

Diffusion Techniques (Ex)
Beginning at 8th level, when the resolution seeker learns to diffuse intense situations quickly. He may calm a single creature as per calm emotions, using his ranger level as his caster level. A Will saving throw negates this effect (DC = 10 + 1/2 the ranger’s level + his Cha modifier). Once a creature has been the target by this ability once, it cannot be targeted again for 24 hours. This is a mind-affecting, language-dependant effect.
This replaces swift tracker
Pantomimed Resolution (Ex)
Beginning at 12th level, the resolution seeker learns to reason with creatures who do not possess a language. The resolution seeker may make a Wild Empathy check as a standard action. If successful, the resolution seeker does not gain the normal benefits of Wild Empathy, but instead may affect that animal or magical beast with language-dependent effects.
This replaces camouflage
Adjust Attitude (Su)
Beginning at 17th level, when the resolution seeker fails a Diplomacy check as part of his Path of Peace ability, or when a creature succeeds on a saving throw against his Diffusion Technique ability, that creature’s hostile actions cause them to become isolated from their companions, as per isolate, for one round.
