Marco Von, The Ascendant Crafter, gained divinity one fateful night when while creating his most masterful creation. As he summoned the power he needed to complete the work, he drew upon the power of divinity. A simple tradesman in his mortal life, Marco Von despises nobility and does all he can to protect settlement communities, peasants, and craftsmen. He often appears at the door of loyal worshipers to provide and share a meal.

In the heat of his forge, the figure glowed a strange red, the heat rippling off of his well defined muscles in waved. His burned leather apron protected him from the sparks, and his heavy tongs drew the crucible of melted mithral towards the mold. The figure whistled as he worked, a lively tune that worked its way through the small forge. To those who could see it, the heat twined around the figure like a cat, and the metal sang as he gave it form and function.
Between the rhythm of striking metal, a multitude of voices could be heard, small and faint, ghostly in their quietude.

“To whom may I pledge my undying devotion?” yelled a voice from the darkness.
“In whose name shall I raise my hammer?”

“The seek a shepherd, a muse, a god to lead them in their times of need,” this voice in dark was different, silken and warm. “They see the perfection in you, the divinity you have struck, and they ask for your help Marco Von. Provide it, for you are one of us now."
