Marsh winds blow,
eerie sight of shadow’d air, flies and rot upon its breath. -A Wicked World

1st - The Unformed Plane of the Marsh
Covered with fetid swamps, noxious marshes, and clinging bogs, the Unformed Plane of the Marsh is a sickening breeding ground of vermin and disease. While most mortal creatures cannot dwell here, the Unformed Plan of the Marsh is filled with dire mosquitoes, giant reptiles, and other vicious predator.
2nd - The Negative Energy Plane
Like all elemental planes, the Negative Energy Plane has no horizon, it is simply a plane filled with negative energy. The overwhelming negative energy within this plane destroys all life and physical matter, the overwhelming entropy causing the creatures to decay and collapse into nothingness.
3rd - The Palace of Sin
Formed after this Dusk Crusade, the Palace of Sin houses all evil outsiders within Almira. Formed in the likeness of a massive castle which stretches infinitely in all directions, the Palace of Sin holds orchards, fields, mansions, shops, and all manner of urban niceties, with mundane services rendered by a population of billions of human slaves. These slaves live in tiny hovels near their master’s mansions, sometimes raised for slave tasks or otherwise raised as meat animals. The Palace of Sin is divided into districts, to keep its otherwise opposed inhabitants from infighting.

The Bleeding Dutchy is the most expensive of Hong Xa’s provinces, and is home to the vampires of the Palace. The halls of the Dutchy are decorated with huge stained glass windows depicting of slaughter, torture, and other unspeakable acts of violence. Vampire mages who specialize in transmutation magic trap the most power aggressors against the palace in stained glass, immortalizing their failure. It is said that if you break these works of grotesque art, you can hear the trapped souls scream for miles around.
Fief Jing Wei is home to the Oni of Hong Xa. As some of the Palace of Sin’s most powerful residents, the oni of Fief Jing Wei command a large district formed entirely from magically hardened gold and filled to brim with pleasure gardens, saunas, and human slave pens. The Gasha Prefecture is home of the Hags of Hong Xa. A vast district, Gasha Prefecture is littered with tepid reflecting pools, dead cherry trees, and rotted wooden prayer arches. Young female slaves are often brought here from the Material Plane to be turned into hags. The Barony Alazra is the home to the Div of Hong Xa. This desert wasteland is built from the stones and dust of once great human cities whose names have been lost to time. It is characterized by large corrupt oases and scorching deserts. The Profane Polis, home to Hong Xa’s devils, is a multilevel complex of offices, dungeons, torture chambers, conference rooms, and living quarters made of smooth white marble. Magical elevators move those with authority from the bottom floors to the tops floors, where the most powerful devils reside. The Resplendent Providence is the home of the Palace of Sin’s Rakshasa. This district is a steamy tropical paradise, rife with permanent illusions made to terrify potential thieves or intruders. |
