Engaging with a Devil Dueler is a Sisyphean task. These well-learned opponents arm themselves with scholarly arguments and distracting banter, frustrating their enemies with debate and cutting remarks.
Legal Dueling
Devil duelers use their Intelligence to outmaneuver devils and other enemies both on and off the battlefield. A devil dueler uses his Intelligence score and modifier in place of his Charisma score and modifier on all class features.
Distracting Debate (Ex)
At 3rd level, the devil dueler can engage a target in a debate while in combat as a move action. He must spend a free action each round to maintain the debate. While debating, both the devil dueler and his target are denied their Dexterity bonus to their Armor Class against attacks made by those not participating in the debate. Engaging in a debate requires both parties to hear and speak in a language the other can understand. If one party cannot, the effect ends. This ability is considered to be a bardic performance for the purposes of the effects of feats and magical items.

Deeds
A devil dueler gains access to the following deed.
Offhanded Remark (Ex): At 11th level, a devil dueler may spend a point of panache as a swift action to make an inflammatory remark against the target of his debate. That creature makes a Will saving throw (DC = 10 + the devil dueler’s Intelligence modifier + 1/2 the devil dueler’s level). On a failed save, on its next turn, the target must attempt to make an attack against the devil dueler, target him with harmful spell, or include him in the area of a harmful spell. The effect ends if the creature is prevented from attacking his or attempting to do so would harm it (for example, if they are on the other side of a chasm or a wall of fire).

Loophole Manipulator (Ex)
At 12th level, the devil dueler learns to find and manipulate loopholes in contracts and spells. When he succeeds on a Will saving throw against an attack that has a reduced effect on a successful save, he instead avoids the effect entirely. A devil dueler who is unable to speak does not gain the benefit of this ability.
