The small, wild towns that dot The Nation have no organized peacekeeping force, often relying on one or two fighters. The Elemental Desperado is able to easily fill this role, using well placed kinetic blasts from makeshift sources of cover.
Discretion
Beginning at 1st level, the elemental desperado learns to use her abilities discreetly. She removes intimidate from her list of class skills and adds bluff.
This modifies class skills
Gunfight Gather
When the elemental desperado uses her gather power class feature, she creates only minor sounds or visual effects. These effects are not enough to break a successful Stealth check. However, the elemental desperado cannot spend a full round to gather power.
This modifies gather power
Kinetic Cover (Sp)
At 2nd level, the elemental desperado gains kinetic cover as a bonus wild talent and may use it with any element. The daring desperado may use kinetic cover an immediate action when she is targeted by an attack a number of times per day equal to 1/2 her kineticist level + her Constitution modifier. At 4th level and every 4 levels thereafter, the elemental desperado may choose additional face to block with matter when she uses Kinetic Cover (maximum 6 faces at 20th level). These faces must be connected, but may be in different squares and need not be faces of the elementa desperado’s square.
This replaces elemental defense
Covered Assault (Ex)
At 3rd level, the elemental desperado's kinetic blasts deals extra damage to enemies that she has total cover against (but not cover or partial cover). This extra damage is 1d6 at 3rd level, and increases by 1d6 at 6th level and every three levels thereafter. This is precision damage, and stacks with other sources of precision damage (such as from a rogue’s sneak attack).
This replaces elemental overflow
Hit and Run (Ex)
At 6th level, when the elemental desperado uses her telekinetic cover wild talent as an immediate action and the triggering attack misses, the elemental desperado may attempt a stealth check to hide.
This replaces the utility wild talent gained at 6th level
